“Anyone who puts Wi-Fi in schools should be hung”— Barrie Trower retired Royal Navy microwave weapons expert
The USA used to have a robust research program on EMFS. Then the Telecom Act was passed, the EPA was defunded and wireless radiation limits were set by industry loyal groups. On this page links to government reports to show the long history of research and inaction on cell phone and electromagnetic radiation are found.
“The EPA, which used to have more than 30 people assigned to health research related to electromagnetic fields from power lines and radio frequency/microwave radiation, now has one person, Hankin, who still works in the field.”– Sun Sentinel

The 5G Trojan Horse is a 96 minute documentary exposing the truth behind the global “Race to 5G”. The scope of the film encompasses health, privacy, and local power concerns, as well as the main focus; corruption between the wireless industry and the U.S. government.
The New York Times launches 5G Journalism Lab to see what’s possible with 5G technology.
In April of 2019, the fifth generation of wireless data networks made its debut in Chicago and Minneapolis, marking a big shift in wireless technology. Over the next few years, the transition to 5G will provide Internet speeds at least 20 times faster than 4G networks, enabling smartphones to download entire movies in seconds or stream massive multiplayer games without latency. (You can read more about the new network and its expected impact here.)
Storytelling with 5G
To explore what kind of storytelling opportunities 5G might enable, The Times launched a 5G Journalism Lab partnered with Verizon, which is providing early access to 5G networking and equipment to experiment with.
We believe 5G’s speed and lack of latency could spark a revolution in digital journalism in two key areas: how we gather the news and how we deliver it. In the short term, having access to 5G will help The Times enhance our ability to capture and produce rich media in breaking news situations. Over time, as our readers start to use 5G devices, we will be able to further optimize the way our journalism is delivered and experienced.— The New York Times
How Big Wireless Made Us Think That Cell Phones Are Safe: A Special Investigation
Things didn’t end well between George Carlo and Tom Wheeler; the last time the two met face-to-face, Wheeler had security guards escort Carlo off the premises. As president of the Cellular Telecommunications and Internet Association (CTIA), Wheeler was the wireless industry’s point man in Washington. Carlo was the scientist handpicked by Wheeler to defuse a public-relations crisis that threatened to strangle his infant industry in its crib. This was back in 1993, when there were only six cell-phone subscriptions for every 100 adults in the United States. But industry executives were looking forward to a booming future.
Remarkably, cell phones had been allowed onto the US consumer market a decade earlier without any government safety testing. Now, some customers and industry workers were being diagnosed with cancer. In January 1993, David Reynard sued the NEC America Company, claiming that his wife’s NEC phone caused her lethal brain tumor. After Reynard appeared on national TV, the story went viral. A congressional subcommittee announced an investigation; investors began dumping their cell-phone stocks; and Wheeler and the CTIA swung into action.
Influence of High-frequency Electromagnetic Radiation at Non-thermal Intensities on the Human Body
Currently we still do not know the specific receptor in humans for perception of extremely high frequency electromagnetic radiation (EHF EMR). Nevertheless, the presence of sensory reactions has been established during local peripheral exposure of humans to EHF EMR [Andreev,
Beliy and Sit’ko, 1985]. At this moment in time, the following can be considered established:
1) Humans are capable of differentiating reliably between exposure to EHF EMR and a sham exposure;
2) Electromagnetic sensitivity in humans is determined by the biotropic characteristics of the EHF EMR: frequency, power, time and place of exposure; The most typical reaction in humans is of a resonantcharacter and is observed during changes in the exposure frequency [Andreev, Beliy and Sit’ko, 1985]
The use of extremely low power EHF EMR of 10-19 W/Hz in millimeter wave resonance therapy for treating people involves selection of an individual frequency which has the maximum therapeutic effect [Andreev, Beliy and Sit’ko, 1985; Sit’ko, Skripnik and Yanenko, 1999].
3) The so-called points of Chinese acupuncture play a particular role in this reception, and are notable for having been used for thousands of years in treating practically all systems of the human body

As happened earlier with Big Tobacco and Big Oil, the wireless industry’s own scientists privately warned about the risks.
The World Health Organization classifies cell-phone radiation as a “possible” carcinogen. That’s not to say they earned the public’s respect to take what they say at face value, but rather always with a grain of salt. Notice the use of “possible” instead of more definitive language.
Fact Checking the 5G/Coronavirus Hypothesis
Derrick Broze of TheConsciousResistance.com joins James to discuss the hypothesis that 5G is responsible for the symptoms associated with the coronavirus outbreak using the identifiable facts and the notable shortcomings with this hypothesis, and then; contrast that with Derrick’s documentary The 5G Trojan Horse, which lays out the no-nonsense, no-speculation truth about the dangers of 5G.
The promise of 5G is huge, and companies are eager to experiment with the technology to understand what possibilities it might unlock for the industry and for it’s subscribers. Along the way, watch out for their successes and roadblocks — how they engage with the larger community of policy makers, PR firms, technologists, designers, storytellers, readers and ultimately the consumers who foot the bill
